October 17 – November 2

We are thrilled to be conjuring up another Boo-La-La! An Indianapolis SPOOK-tacular, our spirited Halloween tradition is equal parts spooky, soulful, and spectacular. Each year, Boo-La-La! transforms the Fonseca Theatre stage into a lively celebration of global folklore, filling the air with storytelling, music, and dance that capture the true magic of the season.

This year’s edition promises a whirlwind tour of eerie tales from around the world, brought to life through a collection of short plays by some of Indy’s most imaginative playwrights:
• Marcia Eppich-Harris
• Hark Harvey Levine
• Piper Murphy
• Sharla S. Stevens
• Aleah Vassell
• Christopher Wittman
• Judson Wright

With their diverse voices and unique perspectives, these playwrights stir up a cauldron of stories that reflect the richness of our multicultural community. Add in music, dance, and a healthy dash of Halloween mischief, and you’ve got a show that is truly unlike anything else in Indianapolis.

Boo-La-La! promises a hauntingly good time for all ages. Don’t miss this seasonal tradition that celebrates how different cultures tell their ghost stories, and how we all come together in the spirit of creativity and play.

Ashton is thrilled to be a back at Fonseca with a new Boo-La-La production! Past theatre highlights include Man of La Mancha with Southbank Theatre Company, Godspell and Hunchback of Notre Dame with Brooks and Bourke Theatre Company, Boo-La-La 2! with Fonseca Theatre Company, and Dido and Aeneas and Die Fledermaus at Western Illinois University. When Ashton isn’t participating in theater you’ll probably find her at home playing D&D, coloring, or playing video games. She would like to thank her husband Michael for his unending love and support and her four cats for cuddles after rehearsals.

Avery is a dynamic performer from Indianapolis. Singer/songwriter, model, sound engineer, and actress, you name it– she’s done it. She has worked with theatrical companies such as Phoenix Theatre, The Indianapolis Shakespeare Company, Fonseca Theater, and The Indianapolis Black Theater Company. She would like to express extreme gratitude to Fonseca Theater Company for giving her another opportunity to work with the theater again. She would also like to thank her father and mother for continuous and unwavering support in her dreams, her brothers Byron III and Collin for inspiring her creativity, and every person that has actively contributed to her success. You can find her somewhere over the rainbow, but most certainly on social media @theaveryelise.

Hannah made her professional acting debut in WET (Fern) as a part of the New Harmony Project at the Phoenix Theatre last year and is so excited to join the theatre scene in Indianapolis again. Enjoy the show!

Gloria is happy to be making her musical/acting debut! Gloria has been singing, acting, dancing, and improving since she was a child, attaining her credentials from Living Room University. When she’s not expressing herself artistically, she’s guiding groups of curious & creative people into deeper empathic connection through her organization IEPAU (In Every Person a Universe).

Some of Charlie’s recent acting highlights include The Rocket Men (Sol), Legally Blonde the Musical (Elle), Missoula Children’s Theatre (tour actor/director), and Pinups on Tour (singer/dancer).
