Ghouls & Giggles

Enjoy a Funny, Musical Celebration of Halloween!

Saturday, October 24 at 4pm
Sunday, October 25 at 2pm

Our young artists are in the driver’s seat as they build a Halloween production called Ghouls & Giggles from the ground up. They are developing their own characters & dreaming up spooky stories; bringing their own ideas to life onstage and discovering the magic of creating something together.

Expect imagination, collaboration, a little chaos, & plenty of giggles.

Director Jean Arnold says this project is for the students to work with others and create theatre in such a way that everyone present feels safe, seen, expanded and uplifted.

Meet the Cast

Takara Childs
is an 11-year-old actor, artist, slime maker and writer.  She has been acting with FTC since she was 6 years old and has been in so many different shows. Her favorite food is sushi from P.F. Chang’s.  She is so excited for this show and the next!

Omar Batres
is an 11-year-old actor at Fonseca Theatre that likes to craft things out of cardboard in his free time and is a FNAF (Five Nights at Freddy’s) Theorist. Omar also likes playing Roblox, knows how to solve a Rubik’s cube, play chess, and do tricks on an “unresponsive” yo-yo. If Omar could have any supernatural power, it would be to change into anything or anyone, because he would use this power to talk like them.

Outside of theatre, Kynzi enjoys Chick-Fil-A, macaroni & cheese, and Legos. If she could have any superpower, it would be the power to morph into anything or anyone.

Makayla McElwain
is a 13-year-old actor, singer and loyal member of Fonseca Theatre. She has seven years of experience under her belt. She’s been in countless theater performances for the FTC STORY class. Makayla has performed in the original story of Micah meets a Mami Wata. Makayla is all about fun, creativity and big emotions.  Something that scares other people but doesn’t scare Makayla are creepy dolls.
